Continuum
Continuum is an interactive installation exploring scale and physics through digitally rendered, physically driven simulations. Using an Arduino Nano IoT’s IMU, I connected real-world motion to a Unity environment, allowing users to manipulate a dynamic physics system spanning from the microscopic to the intergalactic. I developed systems for spawning and despawning large numbers of physics objects while ensuring responsiveness to gyroscopic input. To maintain accuracy, I implemented multiple safeguards and filtering techniques to counteract IMU drift, refining the interaction to feel as natural and precise as possible.
Chromatic Resonance
Chromatic Resonance is an interactive art installation that transforms hand gestures into a living symphony of color. Utilizing Mediapipe hand-tracking, the piece responds to finger pinches to shift hues across the spectrum and wrist rotations to adjust color harmony, creating a fluid and immersive experience. Participants become co-creators, exploring the interplay of motion and light as they shape the mood and energy of the ever-changing display. Blending cutting-edge technology with artistic expression, Chromatic Resonance invites audiences to engage with color in a tactile, meditative, and deeply personal way.
Echoform
Echoform is an interactive installation that weaves motion into a layered, living network of color and form. Using a motion-tracking algorithm, the piece generates persistent, semi-transparent boxes wherever movement is detected, creating a visual echo of activity in the space. These boxes dynamically invert and alter the hue of the image behind them, leaving trails of disruption and transformation as they accumulate over time. Each box is linked to others, forming an intricate, interconnected web that grows with every gesture, embodying the complex interplay of presence and motion. The result is a richly textured, multi-dimensional artwork where layers of interaction build a mesmerizing tapestry of connection and change.
