About Me
I am currently studying Interactive Design at NYU Tisch’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), a hub for innovation and creative exploration. At ITP, I am delving into the intersection of art, technology, and design, pushing boundaries to create engaging and meaningful interactive experiences.
In addition to my coursework, I am exploring personal projects that align with my passion for blending storytelling with interactivity. These projects allow me to experiment with emerging technologies like augmented and virtual reality, physical computing, and generative art. By doing so, I aim to create work that resonates on both emotional and intellectual levels, fostering connections and sparking curiosity.
UAS Certified
I am certified under Part 107 of the FAA as a Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) operator. This certification signifies that I have successfully completed the necessary training, passed the required examinations, and met the regulatory requirements set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to operate small drones for commercial purposes. Part 107 certification is essential for those who wish to use drones professionally, whether it be for aerial photography, surveying, inspections, agriculture, or other commercial applications. It demonstrates my commitment to safety, knowledge of airspace regulations, and adherence to best practices when operating drones, ensuring that I can conduct aerial operations in a responsible and compliant manner while contributing to the safe integration of drones into the national airspace.
DGET
I founded and nurtured the Caucus of Designing Games in Emerging Technologies, establishing it as a dynamic platform for creative minds. As its president, I led with unwavering commitment, fostering a thriving community passionate about game design in emerging realms. During my tenure, I hosted several successful events, including hackathons, game jams, and showcases, collaborating with multiple schools such as Queens College and City Tech. Remarkably, the Caucus stood as the sole new club within the Department of Art and Design at NYIT, a testament to the relentless dedication and hard work that propelled it to this unique position of influence and innovation.
After graduating from NYIT, I left DGET in capable hands, but I continue to check in and assist whenever possible. My efforts in building and leading the club have left a lasting impact, ensuring its legacy as a hub for creativity and collaboration in game design and emerging technologies.
Education
I graduated magna cum laude from New York Tech, where I was proud to earn a place on the Presidential Honors List. This recognition underscored my commitment to academic excellence and my dedication to making the most of my college experience. My journey of learning and growth at the university was marked by significant achievements and impactful contributions.
I actively engaged in the Caucus of Designing Games in Emerging Technology, contributing to cutting-edge discussions and initiatives in the field. Additionally, I participated in the prestigious Venice Biennial project, which amplified my exposure to the intersection of art and technology. My research contributions within the AR/VR Usability Lab, known as the HIVE, reflected my dedication to enhancing user experiences in immersive technologies. These experiences significantly enriched my academic journey and fueled my passion for innovative technology and design.
